I've created an html signature file (.html) which includes a logo .jpg file. I keep getting an error of not being able to attach the image in the mail whether the image is local or on the web (url)

I have done it for years and had no issues.

I want to add the HTML example here but [code] does not work.

It worked for years and when our web server was down it took a couple of seconds and then showed with missing images.

In this latest version of TB (52.0.1) it sometimes misses to include the image when I click Write since it seems it takes longer than expected to receive the image (maybe the time out is shorter)

Hope it works for you.

thanks for the reply iampowerslave, but the image is inserted from the web when I 'write' a message it's when I hit send that I get an error as you can seen in the screenshot

Haven't hit that issue, my example also takes images from the web as you can see.

But it does not ATTACH them. Your message says "There was a problem including the file" well, I don't include it, I don't know if my approach is better or worst since the guy who receives the e-mail will not have the logo attached, but it will be downloaded from my web server instead.

Can you post your signature HTML code?

Here's the section for the image in the table

td style="padding-top: 0; padding-bottom: 0; padding-left: 0;

           padding-right: 7px; border-top: 0; border-bottom: 0:
           border-left: 0; border-right: solid 3px #4D4F4F"
           valign="top"

img alt="" src=https://www.dropbox.com/s/dokucuxfx9duovu/logo_web.jpg?raw=1 border="0" height="100" width="100" br

         /td

If I go to the link it opens the image as it should without problems Note: not the actual image link

Yes, I had the same issue. That is why I have loaded it in a Text Editor, took a screenshot and attached it to my reply above.

But I can just take click the part that looks like a link to the file and click it... and get an error.

Maybe it is not "public" and no one but you when logged in can see it?

I'm attaching the Dropbox error when I click your link.
