I do not automatic updates from foxfire, how do I turn them off? Or do I need to delete foxfire all together? If I want auto updates I would ask for them.

Give me a way to turn off auto updates. I do not want them and if I need to I will stop using Foxfire all together and delete it all.

Hi Mickin45,

It's a good idea to try to keep your software up-to-date. Updates include important improvements, bug fixes and security updates which keep Firefox running smoothly!

There's a special version of Firefox - called Firefox Extended Support Release - which is a lot like normal Firefox, but updated a lot less often. You can download it here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/

Would you be willing to give it a try?

Alternatively, it's not recommended, but you can turn automatic updates entirely off with these steps:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu, and then Options
  2. On the options screen, click General, and then scroll down. Near the bottom of the page is a section called Firefox Updates
  3. Where it says Allow Firefox to..., choose an option which suits you

Cheers
