i had a plug that would open my bookmarks and links in a new tab, then have it showing while loading. current version blocks this. i am getting tired of clicking a bookmark then open new tab then click on bookmark then open new tab get lost page from hitting bookmark by opening history and closing it again, i lose so much time doing this. i also want to goto that new tab when i open the bookmark instead of be frozen when it loads in the background then freezing again while i try to get that tab to be with one i am looking at. i literally lose hours a day trying to NOT lose the page i was looking at when i click a link or try to open a bookmark,.

You can set this pref to true on the about:config page.

  • browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInTabs = true

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
