I've added the ImportExportTools add on, although I'm not sure if I'm actually using it. I'm selecting the messages I want to export to pdf, right clicking and selecting Save Selected Messages-->Pdf

However it is only saving the first email as a pdf and none of the others.

Somebody mentioned about defining export directories but I don't know what this means.

Can anyone advise what I'm doing wrong?

Ok solved my own problem here. Apparently it is not enough for Thunderbird to just click the box next to the email so it turns into a star. To select the emails, you have to control click them to turn them blue-highlighted, and then it will export all the blue highlighted emails one after another.

Just to add, I defined the directory for export now, but that only cuts out the step where you manually tell Thunderbird where to put the exported pdf. It's still only outputting the pdf for the first email on the list.
