I keep on getting error messages when I log onto a different wifi network other than the one I use at home, when I am sending out emails. I am able to receive all my emails, I just cannot reply or send out new mails

Most providers have requirements for more secure server settings when not on your home network. Post your Thunderbird troubleshooting info and maybe someone will have suggestions for your provider. You could also ask your provider for their current server settings and make any needed corrections. Troubleshooting info..
