... and my session store files have been overriden when I opened FF. 1. Can you people make this thing not happen any more??? 2. You can look at this utility to browse System Restore points to see if there are older copies available of the sessionstore.jsonlz4 file.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

"AppData" (XP: Application Data; Mac: ~/Library; Linux: ~/.mozilla) is a hidden folder.
