Accessibility information via UI Automation not working on Windows 7 and Firefox quantum
We have an application that uses UI Automation to detect accessibility information with the browser window. We recently had automatic upgrades on Windows 7 machines to Firefox quantum 61.0.1 and our application is unable to detect accessibility information.
If the browser is downgraded to Firefox version 56 everything works ok. On Windows 10 machines running Firefox quantum 61.0.1 accessibility information is detected within our software.
On the Windows 7 machine, if the Firefox browser 61.0.1 is refreshed in Help>Troubleshooting Information>refresh the UI Automation works during that browser session. once the browser is closed and reopened Accessibility information is no longer detected.
In the About: support page the attached image shows the Accessibility information being detected.
We have a large international company that uses Firefox as their chosen browser and requires this accessibility information. Any support or guidance to help troubleshoot this further would be much appreciated.

Hi, it is turned off as default and needs user interaction to turn it on. As it is turned off to prevent use like yours until permitted.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Hi PKshadow, Thanks for your response. I don’t believe it is turned off by default as it works fine on Windows 10. This looks to be a bug with windows 7 machines and Quantum. I can get the notifier to say the accessibility service is running but still no information detect.
