how do i remove ALL incoming mail showing in the top tab alongside the inbox tab?
my boyfriend running tbird on linux mint when i open the program every single email is showing up in the top tab section next to the inbox tab ive tried but cant find anything to stop this.. its superannoying

How to stop it. Start closing messages that you double click to open in a tab and read.
How to fix it. Right click on tab and select Close Other Tabs.
How to do it better. Press F8 to open the Message Pane and read the messages there instead of opening them in a tab.
