if I receive an email with images ( company logos ) which are the norm now I cannot reply to the email. Thunderbird reports that the image001.png is not available and to make sure I have access to it. This is what appears in a message box and the only option is "OK" "Sending message failed" There was an error attaching image001.png. Please check that you have access to this file"

Probably the image has been linked to a local file on the original sender's computer. As the file doesn't exist on your own computer, you get the error message. Talk to the original sender to fix his or her the signature.

thanks for response but I can hardly go to all the people who email me and ask them to reset or fix their emails signatures. The problem is with Thunderbird. 1. If I use android phone to respond there is no problem but messy trying to type long reply on phone 2. If I forward the message to the sender there is no problem except again it's messy.

I've used Thunderbird for a long time now and it's only on Win 7 32bit that I have encountered this problem.
