Where can I find the option to warn on exit while still downloading a file in standard browsing?

This is about a regular window, NOT private browsing.

It was working fine until the latest update two days ago. Now there's no warning when closing Firefox while still downloading. I'm so used to that warning being there I've dropped at least a half a dozen files so far.

Thanks in advance for your time!

I looked everywhere and double checked privacy after reading your post - nothing there about warning of a file download in progress.

However, the problem is solved. For whatever reason the machine needed a reboot to get everything straightened out. Don't ask me why, it's never been an issue before and I can't imagine my recent change of networking hardware (modem and router) could possibly effect it, either. After the reboot for the hardware install everything was working normally, again. Go figure ... *shrug*

Thanks for looking, anyway ...!->

You'll have to be more specific. As I posted above and in the thread title, I couldn't find a setting to turn the file download warning on or off.

I looked in security, again, after I read your post but I still didn't see anything. If you will tell me exactly what you want a screen shot of I will be happy to take one and post it ...
