How to disable site-specific notifications on Firefox for Android?

more options

The offending site (zaeful) is sending push notifications to my Android phone via Firefox and I see no reasonable way to disable the notifications without perhaps clearing the cache for the Firefox app. The site is blocked from sending notifications on Firefox for Windows under my account and that does indeed prevent them from popping up on my desktop. Both installations, Android and Windows, are signed into the same user account in Firefox.

If the address of the site appears in the address bar, you can check for customized permissions. Tap the lock or globe icon to the left of the address, then look for "Edit Site Settings" as shown in this article: Control notifications in Firefox for Android.

If permissions have not been customized, hmm, I'm not sure how you can change them.

Thanks for the response. I should have mentioned that I tried to edit the notifications this way, but it did not seem to affect anything. My fault. I've attached an image showing that there is no longer any option to remove the notification.

Firefox for Android desperately needs to add a feature to view and manage all sites with explicit push notifications. I continue to get notifications for the site I posted about above and I find it pretty unreasonable that there's no central location where this can be handled. Removing notification permissions should DEFINITELY not require you to navigate to the offending site. Example use case: adware laden scam site visited, notifications accidentally allowed, no way to turn them off unless you visit the same malignant site. That's a bad scenario. Desktop versions of Firefox handle this fine in the Security and Privacy portion of the settings. Android should have this option or something similar. Let me know if this is unreasonable at all.

There are a lot of features missing on Android.
