Gdpr is supposed to protect us however it seems to demand we consent to our data being used by various interests. How can we avoid it completely rather than being harassed constantly for consent most of us don't want to give?

Can we tune the search seeing to return only non gdpr stuff?

Honestly, I feel your pain here.

One way would be to disable JavaScript and cookies for all sites, and only enable them on sites you regularly visit.

Unfortunately Firefox is just the browser, and doesn't provide the search results itself, instead relying on another search provider (Google, DuckDuckGo, etc.).
