Not able to send or receive emails between thunderbird & aol. Have used TB for year now not working.

When I would click on TB to receive or send mail it contentiously ask to provide password still if would repeat. I would go to AOL.com password worked fine. I removed account (TB) and set it up again according to instruction on TB Help manual and auto set up. Received message indicating user name or password was incorrect. Kept trying and final gave up call AOL two days of waiting for a call I sent a copy of the message (above). The individual indicated type of Security was incorrect (SSL/TLS and it should be SSL No way could I even get the SSL to pop us. I loved TB but AOL (I'll be nice) however TB is better.
