Since a couple of weeks any website loading is delayed for 5-10 seconds. Did a un/install, these gave me 3 sessions of fast loading. Now slow again. Win7 / AVG Antivirus. Anybody got a suggestion please?

Minimize memory usage. 

   Use safe mode or disable add-ons (Restart with add-ons disabled)
   Refresh Firefox.
   Disable antivirus and firewall applications.
   Change startup preferences.
   Disable auto update.
   Increase content process limit.
   Disable network proxy.
