I just copied my profile over to my new Thinkpad and all emails, including local folders, appear. However, I do not see the Calendar icon so I assume that somehow the "Thunderbird" folder that I copied and installed on the new laptop did not contain the calendar information. How can I find it? (Not sure if I have lightning or sunbird). Thanks!

re :I just copied my profile over to my new Thinkpad

Did you do this: Assuming both the old and the new computer are Windows OS.

Exit Thunderbird on both computers - this is important.

On old computer: Access profile located here: C:\Users\<Windows user name>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird Copy the 'Thunderbird' folder

On new computer: Access profile located here: C:\Users\<Windows user name>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird Delete the default 'Thunderbird' folder

Paste your copied 'Thunderbird' folder (from old computer) into the 'Roaming' folder. Then start Thunderbird.

Note: Lightning should have same version number as Thunderbird.
