Connected to gmail so my emails would download to Thunderbird. I already had an account for my gmail address on Thunderbird which was not working. When connected to gmail online all emails downloaded from there but all of my work folders under the gmail address on Thunderbird disappeared. Please help!

I finally fixed my Gmail login problems by following these instructions: https://www.supertechcrew.com/thunderbird-oauth2-gmail/ But I found I had to enable cookies in TB in order to make that work.
