mac mini Catalina. installed Thunderbird 68 used existing email acct. when exiting Thunderbird prompted to unmount did that and had to use force quit to close. Rebooted mac and opened Thunderbird. The email I acct I entered was gone. How can I resolve this? Additional information there is no icon in finder applications. The only icon is on the dock.

I worked with reinstalling Thunderbird and resolved the issue. Mac is somewhat different from Windows. Sorry for sounding stupid but am new to Apple Mac
