Recently, the scroll wheel on my mouse lost the ability to scroll upward on the page. But the scroll bar at right still works.

Hi, In the Mouse Properties window, select the Wheel tab. Then, try adjusting the number of lines to scroll the mouse or try changing the mouse to scroll one page at a time. After this is adjusted, click Apply and then click OK. Verify this change helps correct your mouse issues.(This window (Mouse Properties)can be accessed by opening the Control Panel, clicking Hardware and Sound, and then clicking Mouse.Note-You must use the "Category" view in Control Panel to see the Hardware and Sound option.)

Thank you.

Hi,

I hope this solution helps you.

First you need to open the Control Panel. Then click on the hardware and sound. Then click on the mouse on the device and printer. Then click on the wheel button. There you can change the number of rows you want to move the mouse or the mouse to scroll one page at a time.

Control panel>>Hardware and sound>>Device and printer>>Mouse>>Wheel

Turns out it's not FireFox-centric, same problem happens w/scrolling in other apps. I'll try your advice.
