Firefox just started asking for a "master password", which I never established. When I try to uncheck "Use Master Password" it asks me to enter my non-existent password. Yes, I know it's now called "primary password" but I don't have one of those either. Running Windows 10, no AVG installed.

Do you have logins (passwords) stored in the Password Manager (Lockwise) ?

You can reset the primary password, but you will lose all stored passwords.

Alternatively you can rename/remove logins.json and key4.db (and key3.db when present) in the profile folder.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
