Ever since I upgraded my Motorola phone (running Android 5.1) from Firefox 68.12esr to Firefox 80, both my computers running the desktop browser have listed both Android Firefox instances in their synced tabs list.

  • They show the two tabs open on the old version at the time of the upgrade as well as the different tab open on the new Firefox version right now.
  • This is true of both my new Windows 10 machine running Firefox 80.0.1 (see screenshot) and my older macOS El Capitan computer running Firefox 78.2.0esr. Given how different these two systems are, I would imagine this is happening to a lot of Firefox users.
  • However, only one instance of my Motorola phone appears on the "Devices & apps" list.

Additionally, at some point when my phone upgraded to Firefox 80.1.2, it deleted all my tabs open at the time and reverted to those two tabs open at the time of the upgrade. I'm afraid that will happen again if this bug is not corrected. Is there any action on my end that must be taken?

This problem seems to have gone away since my phone auto-upgraded to Firefox Daylight 80.1.3
