Hello,

I recently had to re-install Windows 10 because there was a message "Boot Manager Inaccessible". So I had to re-install Winndows 10. The Thunderbird I was using was gone. However I have my Thunderbird Profile Folder located on another hard drive.

Since I had to reinstall Thunderbird in my new system I now have 2 profiles. The new one is "mnk1p6f5.default" currently in C: and my other Thunderbird Profile located on my other hard drive is "qe87gii2.default". This is the Profile that is located in my other hard drive (Drive Letter I). This is the profile my other Thunderbird on C: was able to link to my hard drive on (I) and where my Email messages were downloaded from the Email Server (Earthlink.net).

I don't know how or what to change in the new Thunderbird Profile and what items need to be changed in my other Thunderbird Profile located in my Hard Drive (I), so they will link and I will be able to get access to my email messages, etc!

Thanks for your time and help, I hope there will be an easy way to do this!

Sincerely,

John Eline

Use the Profile Manager to link to your existing profile. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Moving_your_profile_folder_-_Thunderbird#Use_the_Profile_Manager_to_move_your_profile

Start with step 3 - Start the Profile Manager.

In step 7 select the desired profile folder.
