Hi, is there a way to split off a reply from a thread and create a new one? So if I'm having an email conversation with a client and they then change the subject to something completely different. I'd like to get that reply and have it be a new email, so if I reply to that it's on a new thread and not attached to the current one.

Not without some effort. I generally just right click the address in the top of the email and then select compose message to if I want to communicate with someone in a discussion about something else.
