I have an incoming pop3 email account in Thunderbird. The service provider will close the service in the next few days. Will I be able to access my previous incoming mails through Thunderbird pop3 account, even after my service provider has stopped the service. I am a newbie. I am told that pop3 incoming mails are resident in local device. Please help.

Yes, your messages will still be on your PC after you lose the account. My suggestion is that you consider copying the mail folders to your Local Folders section so you can then remove the account safely.
