When I have "Open links in apps" turned on, for some reason all links to xda-developers.com URLs are directed to the Nextcloud app — which obviously doesn't know what to do with them.

I enjoy the "open in app" feature but this is frustrating. I checked in the app information settings that the Nextcloud app doesn't open any URLs by default, and certainly not specific to xda-dev...?

I haven't tried downloading anything from XDA-dev recently, no. I did try to open the link from my mail app when your response came through there, to the same effect — see attached screenshot.

It seems the problem isn't with Firefox, but with the links that the Nextcloud app considers "supported". Disabling "Open supported links" in the Nextcloud app settings has solved the issue, although as a workaround.

Hi

Are you able to share an example of a link where this happens here?

This will help me to replicate the issue and hopefully find a solution for you.

Absolutely. The problem seems to be on the site's forums https://forum.xda-developers.com/ — specifically links to topics like https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/google-pixel-6.12311/ or https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/introductions.12157/

Category links (https://forum.xda-developers.com/c/*) do not open the Nextcloud app, but discussion links (https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/*) do. So I guess there is something in the /f/ path that triggers the app?

I tried https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/* any the page opened as expected. Are you trying to download something from that page?
