I was testing adding a folder and one subfolder on my Thunderbird account. Now I wanted to delete these folders (by right-clicking and selecting DELETE). Attached is a copy of the error message I received.

Your help is appreciated. -Todd

My guess is you created the folder in an IMAP account. The online account is now holding onto it. Assuming I am right, you need to access the account online to delete the folder. Close and restart Thunderbird and the folder should no longer appear.
