I'm running Thunderbird 115.4.2 on Windows 10. There are several unused email accounts I want to remove but am unable to do so. When I select the account and go to "Account Actions", the "Remove Account" button is greyed out. If I select any of the other accounts it is also greyed out. Suggestions would be appreciated.

You're trying to do it from the Identities window, which isn't possible if there is a single identity. To remove an account, select it in the left pane of Account Settings, Account Actions at the bottom of the pane, Remove Account. The Default account can't be removed, so set another account as Default in Account Actions, and then the other one can be removed.
