FF randomly keeps pasting my clipboard, and the last thing I highlighted. Only happens in FF search bar, and not in Google search bar. FF also randomly closes tabs with no explanation.

The middle-mouse button is used for pasting the last selection on Linux and closing tabs. If you are using a touchpad, a three-finger tap may trigger the middle-mouse button action.

You can disable pasting this way by changing middlemouse.paste and browser.tabs.searchclipboardfor.middleclick to false in about:config.
