Did you check in Finder if the Firefox application is in that path?

/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -safe-mode

When I enter: /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -ProfileManager - on my mac in Terminal the App "Firefox-bin" quits unexpectedly.

Why?

What do I do?

I just want to create a new profile in Firefox.

Thanks

Mozilla recently created a stand-alone version of the Profile Manager. I view it as a bit experimental, but if all else fails, you could try it: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/utilities/profilemanager/1.0/ As a Windows user, I don't know how well it works in Mac. (Edit: More info: Profile Manager on MDN.)

You can create a new profile for testing without deleting your current profile. Please note that you should not delete your current profile without making a backup because it contains your bookmarks, saved passwords, etc.
