Firefox seems to have become worse, not better, from recent up-dates. It's only within the last 30 days or so that I've been having so many problems. Especially in yahoo mail.

Often Firefox won't let me delete emails after reading them. Now it is also not letting me send emails after composing them. I had to save them as drafts, then open Safari to send them. Same thing trying to log in on the CBS blog. Firefox wouldn't process my log in data. So I switched to Safari and had no problem logging in using the same data. No problems using Camino either.

Also keep getting false messages saying I have been disconnected from yahoo chat, even though I never use it and even deleted it from my applications folder. So, as far as my computer is concerned, there is NO yahoo chat from which I could be disconnected.

Yet another thing, Firefox often won't let me paste something I've copied. Especially if it's in something I was in the process of composing, such as a posting for sodahead.com. Also when I'm composing an email to send.

Still another, Firefox wouldn't let me attach photos to an email. So I was again forced to do it via Safari or Camino.

It's gotten to the point where it's becoming a waste of time trying to use Firefox. I think this goes beyond the need to find solutions on my end, tweaking preferences, etc. Instead I think Firefox engineers need to revamp Firefox in an up-date that vastly improves its ability to handle yahoo mail and logging in on any site.

It's strange that mozilla's less-touted browser Camino is, in my opinion, actually superior to Firefox, at least in the sense that it exhibits none of the aforesaid glitches. Maybe you should ask the Camino folks to lend you a hand.  :)

P.S.

I'm using Safari now. Will try Firefox later after the next up-date.
