Certain video players not working in Firefox
First it was the Interactive Radar Map at weather.com refusing to load
http://www.weather.com/weather/map/interactive/Sevierville+TN+37876
All I see is a "loading" animation where the radar should appear for about a minute before being redirected to a page that says "We're sorry. The page you requested is not available. You may have used an outdated link or typed the address (URL) incorrectly. It is also possible that this page no longer exists"
That happens with every Interactive Radar Map at weather.com, not just the one for 37876
Also, I just noticed that Vimeo's video player will no longer load. Here's an example.
All I see is an image where the video player should be.

- If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extension) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Found out that it's Flashblocker. In a similar post I made to to Vimeo's help forum (not mentioning the radar map), someone there suggested that I add
- vimeo*
to Flashblocker's whitelist. I did and Vimeo worked just fine. Then when I saw your reply here and the radar map worked fine with Feuer Fuchs in safe mode, I also added *weather* to the whitelist and it too worked just fine.
An answer that worked for me ...
A big THANK-YOU to dougcoull with his answer to the question “How come Vimeo won’t work with Firefox 4”. (Search Vimeo in FF Help).
Type "about:config" in the address bar of your browser to take you to the config settings.
Scroll down to "dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll" or cut n paste the term in the Filter.
If the entry is ‘false’, double click the entry to change from 'false' to 'true.
Close FF and then re-open for the setting to take effect.
Please take the effort to inform dougcoull if it works for you too.
Only issue for me is you may then find that plugin-container.exe is now running with Vimeo eating up and hogging CPU :(

George's solution was the only thing that actually worked for me! I didn't have adblock or any of that on Firefox so I was pretty frustrated when I kept reading stuff about that. But his solutions worked! Thanks
