My HTC Desire has limited space on the phone. It's great to see that all except 120 kb could be moved to the sd card. Since the installation the size has increased by over 6 mb which I believe is due to temp files saved im my profile on the phone rather than the sd card.

Firefox stores your profile data on the phone, because then Android will prevent buggy or malicious apps from accessing it. On the SD card, other apps could snoop on your browsing or access your saved bookmarks/passwords/etc.

However, we are discussing the possibility of moving data to the SD card despite the security risk, since some phones have very little internal storage. For details, see: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=615519

We're also working on reducing the storage used by the Firefox profile.
