Why is Yahoo! in my menu bar, and how can I remove it?
I want to remove Yahoo! from the menu bar.

Do you have any Yahoo related extensions installed?
If so, disable or uninstall them or it.

I assume you are talking about the Yahoo Toolbar? You can try:
View > Toolbar > UNCHECK the Yahoo Toolbar
If you don't see the Yahoo Toolbar there, you can try to remove it from your Add/Remove Programs option in the PC.

The problem is not the toolbar - it's the menu bar.
You mean the bar with "File", "Edit", "View", etc??
Can you send us a screenshot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screenshot

Yahoo! just showed up on my Menu bar recently as well. It's irritating as stink. I don't want it there! Why is it there and how do I get rid of it???
On the Menu bar, select Tools>Add On. Under Extensions, find Yahoo...to the far right choose Remove. Then to the left, click on Restart Now. Yahoo should be gone

I tried this first. My problem is that nothing shows up under "Extensions". There's lots under add-ons :-(
