I can not open a blank tab by right clicking the tabs then left clicking on new tab, nor by pressing CTRL & T or clicking the plus button by the far right side of all the tabs. I can only open a link to a new tab. Although it is not a major detriment to my browsing. It has become quite a nuisance.

Users have reported that the Ask Toolbar causes new tabs to not open. Un-install the Ask Toolbar until Ask fixes the problem with their toolbar.
