Is it true that the latest upgrade is not compatible with AVAST AntiVirus programs? I saw a post with one of the recent updates, and suggested it wouldn't work with my AVAST?

As Above. Before I download the recent update to Fire Fox I want to be certain that it is compatible with ALL AVAST ANTI Virus programs, or I will simply not down load it.

The only thing about Avast that might not be compatible is their Web Rep extension for Firefox. If that is the case, it is up to Avast to keep their Firefox add-on up-to-date as Mozilla releases new versions of Firefox. Did you check with Avast to see if an update is available? If there is, you probably need to have Firefox 5.0 installed to be able to install that update.
