After I do a Google search on a topic and click on a website from the search list my browser says; submit : Query and then I'm redirected to http://aconymfinder.com, which is not the site address I clicked on. I'm using windows XP professional with service pack 3. I have scanned my computer for virus and no virus or malicious software is detected

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

If using the above listed scanners does not fix it or if you are blocked from installing those scanners then ask advice on one of the forums that specialize in malware removal mentioned in the Popups_not_blocked article.

Thanks co-el for your help I was infected with win32 Downloader : Tracur.B, Tracur.C and Tracur.X. My antivirus Symantec endpoint protection did not detect the infection nor did the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/malware-families.aspx However: Microsoft safety scanner did detect and remove the infection. http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx Now I will be doing regular malware scans with a variety of spyware/malware program. Which also include spybot search and destroy. http://www.safer-networking.org/en/spybotsd/index.html

javascriptfreecode.com redirecting (Flash) code to sokoloperkovuskeci.com. Malware at the very least creates a new homepage in Firefox 6.0.2 that cannot be overwritten. No clean exit .. requires Task Manager process kill.
