I downloaded new Firefox and it says on new firefox page I need to upgrade. When I go to Blogtalkradios studio it says I need to upgrade to 5.0. Help
I downloaded new Firefox version from start page and continue to get same message on start page " URGENT! Your version of Firefox is no longer protected against online attacks. Get the upgrade - it’s fast and free!" I clicked on 'get the upgrade' and downloaded repeatedly but get same message on Firefox start page even after restarting and shutting down my Windows PC

The Firefox 3.5.x branch has reached end-of-life and is no longer maintained.
You will no longer receive security updates for that Firefox version.
You can update Firefox via "Help > Check for Updates" or download and install the latest Firefox 3.6.x or 5.0.x version.
- Firefox 5.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
- Firefox 3.6.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
No, I have reloaded Firefox 6 times and still get the same message on the home page. When I try to get to my new studio at blogtalkradio it tells me I need a newer version of my browser, 5.0 Firefox.
Your More system details list still shows a Firefox 3.5.6 user agent.
- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091201 Firefox/3.5.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
You either have a corrupted user agent or the update has failed.
See:
You can check the version via Help > About Firefox
If that shows the wrong version then you need to do a clean install of Firefox 5.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
- Firefox 5.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
- Uninstall your current Firefox version.
- Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.
Evidently I had a corrupted user agent. I reset them and now I'm ok. Thanks for your help.
You're welcome
