Has anyone else had an issue on their internal FB or Twitter links because of the DivX VOD Helper Plug-in? Is it essential to have? Or can / should I uninstall it??

Update on earlier question--after starting in SafeMode my FB issue was resolved. I believe the culprit could be one of (2) plug-ins that were "questionable" when checking if plugins are up to date - DivX VOD Helper Plug-in & iPhotoPhotoCast - but the issue started before iPhoto was installed. AIso, I have 5.0 & not 3.6 as posted earlier.

New question: Also, my Firefox hangs & crashes a lot. Could 5.0, the plug-in or having too many tabs open or one particular tab cause this problem?
