The new video chat in Facebook does not work with Firefox. I get the camera icon in chat using Chrome and IE.

Video chat has been added to Facebook (FB). It is a variant of Skype. The video chat icon appears and works when I chat using IE or Chrome. I am using Win7.

I installed FF and FB video chat on a virgin PC using Win XP Pro and still no go.

i had the same problem... i downloaded IE9 installed facebook video chatt through that and for some reason video chatt started to work on firefox !

Not sure if installing IE 9 did it or not but I now see the camera in IE, FF and Chrome. Could be Facebook fixed the problem also.
