When I tried to go to "gmail.com" which I did 2 hours ago (and it was fine), Now I got the message:

This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.google.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

Get me out of here!

I made the mistake when it happened with aol to "trust" and I got to a different color sign-in page but everything worked properly.

I use gmail occasionally but had not seen the new sign in page. Hopefully it is working again, if not, (or if you are looking at this question but using another site) maybe one of these helps

I am SOOO embarrassed. I had used the calendar function to check a future date in May 2012, and I forgot to set the calendar back to TODAY. SO ANYTHING I looked at with a calendar or a certificate, had some function issues. Even on AA's reservation page their calendar was off.

Duh...dummy (me!)...

Glad you discovered the solution.

Wrong system time sometimes has surprising consequences, it will for instance prevent me streaming some audio and video from a local broadcaster, if my system date is incorrect.
