To find the version you have go to HELP then ABOUT FIREFOX and if you have 6.0.2 version you really have the latest STABLE version, if not press CHECK FOR UPDATES to update to the latest version (6.0.2 stable).

Firefox 6.0.2 is the current version at www.mozilla.com

There are no more 6.0.* planned at moment as the 6.0.1/6.0.2 were only rapid response chemspill releases related to DigiNotar certificate.
