I cannot get Google toolbar to work with Mozilla firefox's latest versions. The address bar no longer updates when the toolbar is enabled.

I can't continue like this, is there anything I can do other than going back to firefox 4?

The only incompatability is the address bar. Are there any add-ons or extentions that just update the address bar for each page or offer another address bar?
