Recently I installed the ChatVibes add-on into Firefox 8 and the toolbar seemed to modify my start-up address everytime that I open a new Tab or new window. I have the Foxtab add-on with its feature to show my top sites turned on. I can see the feature for few seconds but, because the address is set to website search.chatvibes.com, it redirects to this website. I had said no to this feature when installing the ChatVibes ad-on but it still overwrote my selection. How can I remove that search address and put back my Foxtab setting to work as before?

I would suggest removing the ChatVibes addon and, if you really need it, try installing it again. Follow the instructions here: Disable or remove Add-ons
