Messenger doesn't work using the firefox since I upgraded, however if I click on internet explorer I can use my messenger icon.

Ever since I upgraded the mozilla firefox new version a few weeks back, my yahoo messenger does not work. I have to download the application then I get a message error stating side by side configurations do not correspond, but if I use the Internet explorer then I can chat with my friends.
