Recently I am facing a problem with previwing the PDF files. Mozilla can not recall adobe reader. Therefore, I used google chrome instead.
In the most of cases, the PDF extension files are corrupted and Mozilla Firefox fails to recall Acrobat reader to open the files. However, opening the same file using Google chrome is not making this problem at all, even, I found it is more convenient to preview the files there. Because I like to use Mozilla Firefox, I do not like to use other explorers on my machine. Please solve it.

Is your Adobe Reader up-to-date?
You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update as necessary:
- Plug-in check --> http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
- Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in: Installing (or Updating) the Shockwave plugin with Firefox
- Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape: Installing/Updating Adobe Reader in Firefox
- Shockwave Flash (Adobe Flash or Flash): Updating Flash in Firefox
