Audio no longer plays when Firefox is not the "active" app on the desktop
Just updated to the latest version (10.0.1). Now Audio no longer plays when Firefox is not the "active" app on the desktop. In the past I had been able to open Firefox browser, go to a website to listen to some audio, then move on to another application on my computer and the audio would still play through my speakers from the website on firefox. Now if i do this I lose the audio, unless firefox is the "active" application, meaning if the top blue bar on the browser is blue and not grayed out. I have tried the "Always on top" add-on and this does not correct the problem I am having. I have looked through the various settings and could not see a solution. Can anybody tell me if this is change-able or if it is going to be no longer possible through firefox browsers?

Doh! Feel like a moron!! Figured out my problem! Sorry! Uh, I (or most likely someone else) had put the audio for the other app I was using (Avid Editing software) on mute, which caused the audio not to flow through when the firefox browser was not "active". Anybody else have a similar problem should check to see if the other app you are using has the audio 'on'.

Next time it happens the solution may not be that simple.
I do not have suitable links to hand but IIRC there were proposals to stop Firefox from playing audio other than from the tab in focus.
