I mistook Sync for a cloud backup, is there a way to get my history, passwords, and add-ons back (other than manually)?

Mistaking Sync for a cloud backup, I synched, and then proceeded to re-install a fresh copy of Windows. Now I have no paired device, no key, and no apparent way of retrieving my history, and passwords. Add-ons are really no big deal, as I can easily find them again, but the history, favorites, and passwords are not so easy. Is there any way for me to retrieve this information on my new install?

Sorry, without the Sync Key / Recovery Key your data isn't retrievable. Each individual user is the only one whoever even sees their "key", and it is the encryption / decryption key for that data.
