I used to only be able to open new tabs when I clicked on my home page icon. But now they automatically open. I don't want this to happen. Please let me know how to go back to what I had originally.

A little more detail would be nice. Do you mean that when you open Firefox, you get a number of blank tabs opening spontaneously?

You should be able to open new tabs with Ctrl-t. Were you not able to do that before?

Do you mean when you start Firefox?

You can check the startup setting.

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my home page" "Show a blank page"
