The scroll function on my trackpad does not work after upgrading to 12.0
The scroll function on my trackpad does not work after upgrading Firefox from version 3.6.28 to version 12. It works normally in Thunderbird and other applications. This is a Lenovo T61 with XP Service Pack 3 and all drivers up to date. Version 3 seems to have bad memory leaks so I would like to upgrade but I can't do without the scroll function. I'd appreciate any advice.

Try to modify the ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled pref on the about:config page from the default value -1 to 0 or 1 to see if that makes the scroll pad work.
Close and restart Firefox after changing the ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled pref.

Thanks for the useful reference. Changing ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled from -1 to 1 solved the problem.
