Firefox Always Telling Me To Update
Every time I open Firefox, it tells me I'm not on the newest version. I checked by going to Help>About Firefox and it says I'm up to date on 12.0. This is very frustrating, since I never know when I really need an update or not. This has been going on since the beginning of the year. Please help!

Where are you seeing the message?
If it's below the search box on the old Firefox 3 start page (http://www.google.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.moz...), you can ignore that. The page does not actually test what version you're running.
If the message appears elsewhere, e.g., as a full page message or pop-up, can you post a screen shot of it?

Yes it is in fact on the old start page. Thanks for your help!
you can reset the homepage in firefox > options > general > startup - the new default homepage is about:home
