How do I uninstall Firefox Aurora?
I downloaded and installed it long ago, but it never worked. I cannot uninstall it, and it's taking up 75 gb on my harddrive. Add or Remove Programs won't work and I can't locate it. On My Computer, it's showing the drastic change in my remaining space, so it doesn't seem like a bug or glitch.
Title in Add or Remove Programs: "Aurora 6.0a2 (x86 en-US)"

If you've ever reset Firefox or created a new profile then you may still have old profiles left that take up space.
Firefox uses two locations for the profile folder (AppData\Roaming\) and the cache folder (AppData\Local\).
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
If there isn't a profile folder with the (Aurora) Firefox version installed then that version isn't installed.
You can do a search for firefox.exe to find all Firefox installations.

Do you have a shortcut to start the program?
You can check the uninstall registry key to see to which location it points.
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\
You can also check for no longer used profile folders.
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
No luck. I followed through your post and nothing regarding Aurora pops up. I also don't have a shortcut icon.

Aurora is the code name for the 2nd alpha level version of a future Firefox version - a version that will be coming 2 versions after the current release.
Firefox is what you should be looking for.
It is possible that you only have a leftover entry in the uninstall section and that the actual program has already been uninstalled or otherwise removed.
So if that program isn't on the hard drive then either remove the registry key or ignore that entry.
What I downloaded was off of the Mozilla site and named Aurora.
I also can't find the registry key. Add or Remove Programs is still picking it up and I have 11 gb left now in my computer. It says it's taking up 75 gb. Is Windows reading it incorrectly or should I invest my time into defragmenting my drive?

I understand. Any suggestions on finding out what could be causing the 75gb gap in my drive? Otherwise, thanks for the help, everyone. Glad to know that it's at least uninstalled, judging by the negatives in finding profiles and registry keys. :D
Did you check how many space folders take on the hard drive to see if you can locate folders that take excessive space?
75 GB is a lot of space and that shouldn't be taken by a program.
Only data would take that much space.
I am stuck with Aurora and considering drastic piece by piece deletion.
I tried removing through control panel, aurora, uninstal. That did not work at all. Not a pip. Then I followed the instructions from Mozilla. ie: Go to c\programs\aurora\uninstal and click on helper.exe. That did not work either. I reset the program and rebooted. did all of above again. No go. Cannot get rid of it.
None of the instructions on this page were able to get rid of Aurora.
I have Firefox on other pcs and am happy with it. I am disgusted with AURORA. and am stuck with it? I want to get rid of it pronto.
Help! If I cannot get rid of it I will remove all Firefox from all other pcs permanently for fear of getting stuck with them like aurora. I am disgusted with Aurora.
Help.
You can delete the Aurora program folder to remove that specific Firefox installation.
